Things to Know Before You Book

We want every guest to have a wonderful stay at Fallbrook Mountain Retreat (Main Home Only). The notes below are simply meant to help set expectations and make sure the home is a great fit for your trip.

Dog-Friendly Home

We happily welcome four-legged family members. The home is professionally cleaned and inspected between every stay, but because many guests travel with their dogs, this home may not be the best fit for guests with severe pet allergies.

Our large fenced yard makes it easy for dogs to enjoy the outdoor space as much as their humans do.

Guest Access

The entire home is yours to enjoy during your stay — you will not be sharing the property with anyone.

The garage is not included, but there is plenty of parking available on the large driveway.

A few days before arrival you’ll receive your private door code for convenient self check-in.

Camp Pendleton

Please be aware that Fallbrook is located near a military base, so on occasion you may hear training activity or distant booms during your stay. This is true for anyone staying in the Fallbrook area.

Refundable Deposit

A refundable damage deposit of $400 will be held before your stay and is automatically released after checkout if no damage occurs.

The Downstairs Space

There is an additional space downstair that includes another full bedroom, living room with a foldout couch, another kitchen and another bathroom. This space is only included if you rent the “Entire Property”. It is NOT included with the “Main House Only”. This is a great additional space for larger groups up to 9 or if you just want more room to spread out. Feel free to book “Entire Property” if you want this space.

Don’t worry, we only book one group on the property at a time. If you book the “Main House”, no one will be staying in the downstairs space. You will still have the entire property to yourself.

House Rules

Maximum Occupancy
The home accommodates up to 5 guests unless approved in advance. If you have between 6-9 people, consider renting the “Entire Property” instead of just the “Main House”.

Quiet Residential Neighborhood
The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.

No Parties or Events
Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted.

No Smoking
Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the home or near any of the entrances to the home.

Dogs Welcome
Dogs are welcome, but guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any pet-related damage.

Outdoor Areas
Please keep noise levels reasonable when enjoying the outdoor areas, especially in the evening.

Cancellation Policy

We offer a Flexible cancellation policy to make planning your trip easy.

• Full refund for cancellations up to 24 hours before check-in
• Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival are non-refundable
