Wedding & Event Guidelines
We’re excited to host your special day at San Diego Family Retreats. To ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for you, your guests, and our neighbors, please review the following guidelines carefully.
Guest Count
Maximum of 50 guests
This includes all attendees, wedding party and event staff
Event Hours
Events are limited to a maximum of 6 hours total
All events must conclude by 10:00 PM
Music must end by 9:30 PM
Parking & Transportation
On-site parking is limited to approximately 5 vehicles. We recommend holding those for disabled and elderly guests.
Shuttle service or rideshare coordination is required for guest transportation (additional cost)
A designated drop-off and pick-up plan will be arranged in advance
Bathrooms
The property includes 3 indoor bathrooms for guest use
Guests may use designated bathrooms only
All other areas of the home will be restricted to wedding guests.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is permitted and must be provided by booking party
All alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender
Self-serve alcohol is not allowed
No drinking games, kegs or shots permitted
Alcohol service must end by 9:30 PM
Insurance Requirement
A special event insurance policy is required for all bookings
Policy must include host liquor liability coverage
Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the event
Music & Noise
Amplified music is allowed during event hours
Music must be kept at a respectful level
Due to the residential setting, all music must end by 9:30 PM
Catering & Food
Outside catering is allowed
Caterers must provide their own setup, equipment, and cleanup
Kitchen access will be limited
Rentals & Setup
Clients are responsible for arranging:
Tables
Chairs
Linens
Décor
Setup and breakdown must occur within your reserved time
Restricted Items
The following are not allowed on the property:
Confetti or glitter
Open flames (except approved candles)
Fireworks or sparklers
Nails, staples, or permanent fixtures on surfaces
Recreational drugs of any kind
Smoking Policy
Smoking of any kind or Vaping is not permitted inside the home or near any of it’s entrances.
Smoking is allowed only in a designated outdoor area. All cigarette butts must be properly disposed of in provided receptacles.
Smoking is not permitted on turf, landscaped areas, or near the home.
Failure to follow smoking guidelines will result in an additional cleaning fees of $1,500.
Property Use
This is a private residence — please respect all posted boundaries
Guests are not permitted in restricted or private areas of the home
No moving of furniture inside the home without prior approval
Any damages will be the responsibility of the booking party
Cleanup
All trash must be properly bagged and placed in designated areas
The property must be returned in the condition it was received
Additional cleaning fees may apply if necessary
Payment Terms
50% Non Refundable Deposit due at time of booking.

Important Note
Our property is located near a military installation as all properties are in Fallbrook. On occasion, you may hear distant rumblings of explosions. These are infrequent but possible.

By booking the property, you agree to abide by all guidelines listed above. These policies are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and stress-free experience for everyone.
